Yesterday was a milestone day at the Pueblo Seed & Grain Hub! Our partners Dean and Susan of Brightwood Farm (Hermosa, CO) delivered a beautiful crop of Black Einkorn. Because of the diversity of seed crops we handle, it can take years to bring some into production... we started with a handful of Black Einkorn seeds in 2016, increased it again in 2021 and now with this Beautiful harvest from the loamy soils of the Animas River Valley, we are ready to move the crop into production and the local food system. Good Morning Cortez!
In celebration of the Swiss National Holiday and Colorado Day, we are offering our famous Swiss Müesli made with our Colorado Grown Grains and of course the Swiss Holiday Cookie. We also have organic peaches, melons, carrots bunches, cinnamon rolls, Yogurt Tarts (GF/V available), many breads, and the traditional rye from the valley of Vinschgau ("Vinschgerl"). This bread is also common in Switzerland as Vinschgau borders the Swiss Alps on the Southeastern side.

Did you know Pueblo Seed & Food Supplies carrot seed to 7 or so organic seed companies? we rotate each year between Cosmic Purple, Dragon, and Scarlet Nantes varieties.
