Mocha had to go to the vet the other day. I put her back in the truck with the AC blasting (yes, the truck 🐐👑) and ran inside to pay.

Came back out to her sitting in the driver’s seat, mean mugging me through the windshield. 🤨

I bribed her into the back seat with apples… then I had to deal with her dirty looks again bc SHE ate ALL of her road trip snacks before we even left the parking lot.

Cayden has been part of the Fowler General Store story from the very beginning, and we're proud to have the opportunity to feature him as part of our 2026 4-H Feature Menu!

This Thursday, August 27, we're celebrating Cayden and his hard work with a special featuring Sausage Gravy.

Cayden holds a special place in our store's history. He raised the first hog we ever served at Fowler General Store and even helped us serve it during our grand re-opening celebration. Every week, when we're loading feed at his family's store for our farm, Cayden is there with a smile and a willingness to lend a hand.

His dedication, hard work, and connection to our store and community are exactly what we're proud to celebrate through our 4-H Feature Menu.

Each featured exhibitor and one guest are invited to enjoy 2 complimentary dinners during their feature. Please give us a call ahead of time so we can reserve your meals, as featured menu items are available while supplies last.

Yesterday Brian and I went to the Ashtabula County Fair to watch Lily and Lukas show LJ and Brock! They did a great job!

Lily and LJ took first in their class.
Lukas and Brock took 2nd in their class and 6th Overall.

LJ was bought to use for market breeding but showed in the pet class this year. LJ was bred at our friend’s, place, Sokolow Farm in Elyria.

Both of them were part of the bottle baby chaos that were in the house this past winter! 🐐❤️

Now that the camper is unpacked, the trailers are emptied, and life is finally starting to slow back down after fair week, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our boys and their 4-H projects this year. Your generosity, encouragement, and belief in these kids means more than words can express.

A huge thank you to Jones Processing, Valley Hatchery, Cockeye BBQ, Daniel Sloan, Cortland Moose, Denmandale Dairy, and to everyone who generously gave add-on donations to the boys’.

Because of supporters like you, kids are learning the value of hard work, responsibility, perseverance, and the importance of giving back to their community. These projects are about so much more than raising livestock, they’re about building character, and we’re thankful to have such an amazing community standing behind them.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for investing in our boys and in the future of 4-H. We truly appreciate each and every one of you! 🍀🐷🐐

I can’t love this enough! ❤️ The love and support they have for our 4-H youth is absolutely amazing. Thank you for believing in these kids and all the hard work they put into their projects!

Yesterday was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do.

Watching our community rally behind the hardworking youth of the Trumbull County 4-H program was something special. Our Fowler General and Valley Agventures family was proud to support these incredible exhibitors, and we're excited to soon feature the results of their hard work as special menu items in the weeks ahead.
