We are stoked on our winter squash harvest this year! We’ve got most varieties clipped, picked up, and curing for the next week or so, both to develop flavor and extend shelf life.

This year we have our beloved Baby Butternuts, some of the classics including Delicata, Pie Pumpkins, Spaghetti Squash, and Acorn, and we’re trying out some beautiful golden Thelma Sanders acorn squash for the first time 💅 Ayote negro and Chilacayote still have a ways to go, but you’ll start seeing everything else at markets and at the farmstand soon 🫶🎃🍂

Pomegranates are almost ready! 😍 We got a handful of fruit off these trees last year, but this year it looks like we’ll have a good amount more, keep an eye out in the coming weeks at our booth at PSU Portland Farmers Market

We had a lovely morning out in Kings Valley doing a honey tasting with a group visiting from North Carolina with Friendship Force International. It was particularly exciting to get to taste the Clary Sage together, which is grown out for seed in Oregon and sold to North Carolina growers.

Come find us at the market today! Both Hakurei Turnips and Spaghetti Squash are making their seasonal debuts today, and it’s finally actually the last week of watermelon.

Tis the season for Pumpkin Honey, come on by for a honey tasting just in time for cozy tea season :)
