We love all of our regulars that come back every year but there is also something fun about the people who just see the sign at the road, want a snack, and pull in. This gentleman from Texas is on his way to Seattle and he caught us on our last day because he needed a road trip snack! 🫐🫐🫐 We might not have the selection of a 7-11, but what we offer is high in antioxidants!!! And how do the locals know it’s the last day??? Just check out that sandbox! Even the sandbox is tired!!! See you in 2027!!!

If you manufacture something you know how many inputs of parts you have and can give a pretty good estimate how many widgets you are going to make. Farming doesn’t work like that!!! And years of practice (and we means YEARS) means we can usually walk a row of berries and have a rough idea of how many pounds of berries are on those bushes. Remember this morning we were sending our pickers into the last good rows of Legacies??? Well…..there was a lot more berries in there than we guessed! 🤓 So it’s true this is the last of the already picked for 2026, but if you want some they are available right now! $3.50/lb🫐. We probably will have some still available tomorrow.

So tired Larry had to apparently stop his 4 wheeler in the yard on the way to the barn to unload his berry haul. Maybe the 4 wheeler was even tired???? If you want picked berries, I can see Janet’s still got the thing in her ear, better call her (541) 753-5680 get her moving to put your name on a box! $3.50/pound. U-pick will go on through the weekend and then we’ll see what kind of energy they have after that!

Oh deer, these rogue U-pickers are getting out of control this year!!! Never paying the bill ($2.50/lb) and slipping out the back when they’re done! Totally not honoring the 8 am - 7 pm open hours! And they don’t stay on the row Janet assigned them to pick on! In all seriousness, the heat is really starting to soften the berries, so not sure how long they will last. If you want 🫐 berries this year, better come beat the sun☀️& the deer 🦌 to them soon⏰!!!

How do you know your blueberries 🫐 are gold medal 🏅worthy??? You ask a gold medalist of course!!!! A rather tall gold medalist……. When Mel Counts started coming out for berries a few years ago Ed saw that 7 footer duck under the garage door opening and his middle school OSU Beaver 🧡🖤 loving heart skipped a beat! We love all of our U-pickers equally!!! No preferences given to a 2x NBA champion, Gold medalist, previous All American, whose number (21) is retired in the rafters of Gill Coliseum!!! 🏀⛹️‍♂️

When U-picking we’re happy to let you use our buckets for picking into but we do ask that you bring your own container to take your berries home in. That being said, if you prefer to pick directly into your container, we’ll weigh it in before you start picking. Then you also could make a blueberry lasagna!!! 🫐🫐🫐 There are some pink 💗 lemonade blueberry plants in the field that we allow you to pick a hand full or two. There is not a lot of them, so we ask that you be respectful of people coming after you that also want to try the novelty. U-pick is $2.50/lb. Open 8 am - 7 pm, 7 days/week! 🤢
