We had a blast at Corvallis Fall Festival at the end of last month and wanted to share some pictures with the Co-op Community! A huge thanks to every one who volunteered at our food booth in the Arts Center Plaza, and everyone who stopped in to enjoy their hard work. It was a tasty good time! 🍂

Local Food Champion of the Season, created by the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition's Food Action Team, highlights local farms and businesses that grow, produce, and prepare foods using practices that renew and enrich the land and community, and we'd "loaf" to tell you about their latest Champion—Wild Yeast Community Supported Bakery

When Wild Yeast co-founders April and Craig began baking bread out of their home kitchen in 2013, their goal was to encourage healthy eating, support local agriculture, and keep money flowing in the local economy. That's not easy when organic grains grown and milled locally are hard to come by, but one taste of Wild Yeast's sourdough breads and pastries will tell you it's completely worth it.

It’s “wild”, the new products we’ve got at the co-op, so “bear” with us and “pecana” show you some of them. 🔎 Wild For Oregon soaps are made with simple, plant-based ingredients and celebrate the simple plant-based pleasure of Oregon’s great outdoors. 🌲

I roar, you roar, we all roar Ice Cream For Bears. Don’t hibernate on these new ice creams made with grass-fed dairy and sweetened with raw honey. 🍯

When you head out for the wild’s of Oregon, pack along some . This woman-owned business makes ethical and awesome chocolates that the whole sleuth (that’s what you call a pack of bears!) will love. 🐻

Finally, we’re excited to introduce Pecana’s organic Unsweetened Original Pecan Milk. Made with buttery pecans grown on family farms, it’s a non-dairy option free from seed oils, carrageenan, gluten and artificial flavors. ☕️ Look for more tasty new products at both Co-op stores. Fall is in the air and Corvallis Fall Festival is this weekend in Central Park. Take a break from supporting local artisans and craftsmakers to enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich at the Co-op’s food booth in the Arts Center Plaza.
