When you pull a yearling from the pasture and expect her to remember how to be a show lamb a year later… and she delivers, with minimal grumbling! 🙌🏻 Proud of this yearling for putting up with me and all the extra handling today at a fitting and showmanship clinic today with Rough Cut Farm. I finally had enough tomatoes and tomatillos from the garden to make a batch of tomato sauce and salsa verde. Almost 100% garden grown on the sauce. Next year, the salsa verde will be! I might also plan on more white onion than red so we end up with verde instead of Rosa salsa. At least the flavor is still fantastic despite the pink color. 💃🏼 💁🏼‍♀️

We have 1 lamb available for this fall. Planning to take them in around October 1st. They’ll finish out around 100 lb live weight. Very lean naturally and mild in flavor because they are hair sheep. PM if you are interested!
