This weekend you have the chance to impact your community in a positive way. Let me explain…
Like me, you may have heard or even been the one to say, “There’s nothing to do around _____."
(Insert your town name if you’re outside of Corydon).
I’ve both heard and said that statement myself, but this weekend, is your chance to participate in town happenings and not just spectate.
Backroads Market is hosting a Mother's Day event with businesses throughout Downtown Corydon, Popland is open for its third weekend and tons of other businesses are doing really cool things in their shops.
As a small town community, its everyone’s responsibility to make it a better place to live and simply enjoy existing as an individual or family. It’s an active participation and exchange.
As I’m planning out the rest of the year, what I want to launch, what flavors are going to come next, all those things, I put more stock in the ideas people share when they come into the store or around town. Where they are intentional about supporting my business not just in a monetary way but also through ideation, content, stories, connection, etc. That collaboration is the positive impact.
I’m curious, how many people share their thoughts & ideas with business owners? This weekend is a great opportunity & I would love to hear how you can see Popland growing in & beyond Downtown Corydon.
