Grazing is a learned behavior. OurRanch sheep are specially raised to consume invasive species. When we moved to NYS we were introduced to Japanees Barberry, https://www.ecolandscaping.org/11/landscape-challenges/invasive-plants/japanese-barberry-exotic-invasive-plant-fact-sheet/.

We finally are successful at getting them eating it!!!
