From the poultry yards to the lofts, every day is about hard work, careful selection, and a passion for raising quality birds the right way. As show season continues and breeding plans take shape, we’re focused on progress, consistency, and building something we’re proud of.

💨 It’s Knoxville time, y’all!
Here at Twisted Steel Farm & Loft, we’re in full show-mode this morning — making our final selections out of the pullet pen and the cockerel pen to see who’s earning a ticket to Tennessee! 🐔✨

The birds are looking sharp, the energy is high, and the Buttercups are strutting like they already know they’re headed to the big stage. 👑🌼
There’s nothing quite like that pre-show excitement!

Whether it’s the youngsters stepping up or the seasoned show birds holding their ground, we’re proud of every single one. Time to load up, hit the road, and represent Ohio in Knoxville! 🔥💛

❄️🐔 Twisted Steel Farm & Loft – Snow Day on the Farm! 🐐❄️

Yesterday gave us our first snow day of the season, and while the weather turned cold fast… the animals didn’t get the memo! 😂
Snow or not, chores still call — waterers to break, birds to feed, goats to check on, and loft doors to scrape open. Farm life never slows down, even when Mother Nature tries to freeze us solid! ❄️💨💪

We’re also gearing up for Knoxville this weekend, and after that it’s just Northeast Poultry Congress before show season wraps up. Hard to believe how fast this year has flown by!

Once the shows are done, it’s officially breeding season here at Twisted Steel — and trust us, we’ve had a LOT of people asking about eggs already. 🥚🐣
We’re excited to get pairings set, birds conditioned, and everything rolling strong in the new year.

The chilly weather has officially settled in here at the farm, and that means one thing… bundling up!

We spent the day getting all the barns winter-ready —
🔸 Windows wrapped up
🔸 Drafts sealed
🔸 Fresh bedding added
🔸 Extra feed & clean water
🔸 Cozy corners for every critter

Our birds are staying warm, the goats are tucked in, and everyone is settled in snug for the cold nights ahead. ❤️❄️

Farm life doesn’t slow down when the temperature drops — but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to warm barns, happy animals, and a smooth start to winter at Twisted Steel Farm & Loft!

🎉 Big News from Twisted Steel Farm & Loft! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that we just brought home the Reserve AOCCL title at the show! 🏅 Our Buttercups (and all our feathered friends) really shined, and we couldn’t be more proud of the flock.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports us—this is a win for our whole little farm family. Stay tuned for more updates and some fun behind-the-scenes moments soon!
