It's been a busy week between 4H activities, calving and cria season. We took the two newest Littles to the vet for their blood work to check the protein levels. These two are both boys. We're blessed that both are healthy.

Shearing day. Perfect weather. 48 alpacas. Lots of fiber.

Bandera Fiber and Arts Festival starts this week with some tours. Classes and vendors will be March 10-11 at The Sheepwalk Ranch. Come join the fun.
Our fiber store sister, The Painted Alpaca will be vending there, so stop by and say hello to Diana.

Hello Face Book Friends,
Lots has been going on around the ranch in the last couple of months. After 25 wonderful years of raising/breeding/showing and boarding alpacas, we have made the tough decision to retire. All of our alpacas have gone to their beautiful new home. Bluebonnet Hills Alpacas is moving to Cost, Texas to join the herd at Calico Creek Ranch.
We have met so many wonderful people during the 25 years and we feel very blessed. We will miss seeing you at events and will treasure the memories.
Blessings to you all and thanks for supporting us through the years. I’m sure Jim and Diana at Bluebonnet Hills Alpacas at Calico Creek Ranch will continue to share great pictures of alpacas with you as well as their event schedule.
Finally, our ranch went on the market Sunday and things have been crazy around here since then! If you know anybody who would be interested in our little slice of heaven here in Waller County, please share the link to the listing.
