Fork and Knife CM We are permanently closed �. After all, food is more that just a fuel for our bodies. Additionally we will have items made in-house to enhance your own cooking.

We are a new concept; hoping to bring Chef Driven food... meaning expertise and heart poured into creating seasonal recipes based on season and thoughtful sourcing to satisfy your taste and mind. Fork and Knife offers 3 concepts, that should touch at least one of your foodie desires.
1.) Dine-In Lunch. 11am-3:30pm

2.) Grab-N-Go Menu
Our Cold Case is filled each morning of all freshly made, Sides, Salads, Sandwiches, Daily Soup, and Entrees. These items are made for those on the go and just want a well cooked meal or unique fresh sandwich. The Display cases also feature house made Bakery treats each day; from cookies, cakes, and breads. Chef Jon makes the bread for the sandwiches daily, and thoughtfully cooks the items in need of microwaving later at a low slow heat... to ensure when you heat it at home it has all the juiciness it should have.
3.) Epicurean Market
A market full of ingredients Chef cooks with and or creates. All of his favorite Olive Oils, Vinegars, Paella Rice, Potato Chips that are worth the splurge, all the way to his favorite Jams and more. These items will change and depend on season and availability. The market is full of surprises and worth strolling around to take it in. Please ask about Catering. Options are available. We are happy to contribute to Memorable events; and make sure the taste is just as memorable as your moment.

It is an emotion filled day for us. We have thoroughly enjoyed our Fork & Knife adventure here in Costa Mesa. It allowed Jon] to continue to cook during an unimaginable time. So many people played a role in making this a success for us! From the team we opened the doors with, the team we have now, people handling our backend details, people promoting our new concept, our neighbors in our space, and our valued customers; you have all left an imprint on our heart and will forever be cherished.
While we have heavy hearts for some goodbyes, we are ready for the opportunities that lie ahead and grateful for the story we have had this far.

For those who do want to keep an eye on Chef, and see what he’s up to, please follow either of us. (I tend to update more)

Change isn’t easy, but necessary in life to achieve your goals. The time has come for Jon’s delicious food to be served on a plate, instead of a to-go container. Chef’s delicious Sandwiches have been stopped and we are zeroing in on all of the wonderful catering orders we have coming up. We have decided to close Fork and Knife; with full operations concluding at the end of April with weekend Catering available through May.

This was not an easy decision, as we love love love the neighborhood and having you all invite us into your life and homes with Chef’s meal’s. It has been a wonderful place to keep cooking during an extraordinary time. We hope to see you come in and gather your favorite things before we close the doors to Fork and Knife. Our next chapter will be taking us to Jacksonville Beach, Fl with great opportunities that could not be passed up.

Easter is a hop, skip, & jump away.

Our Holiday Menu is now available to order, allowing yourself to move onto your next "to-do" item this season. Whether you are hosting or planning on bringing a dish elsewhere, let us do the work for you.

Chef Blackford has prepared a menu to compliment the seasonal gathering with loved ones. You can order the whole menu, or just a few items to add to your table. All items are prepped and chilled, for you to pick up, with the instructions to heat and serve.
