Back in Spring when I was just a customer at the Straw, I never would have imagined what lied ahead. From May through September, we worked each week preparing food for Friday nights. We set up in a parking lot and every week we sold all that food. We made new friends, we saw old friends again, and we made a lot of those faces smile. Week after week people kept coming back for more. It has been such an honor to see that our food made people happy. It is incredible we built this weekly event from an idea to such a success in weeks. Honestly, it was kind of overwhelming. Of course, we are not going to go away. This was just the right time to take a break, but we will announce our upcoming appearances here. The words will never do to express our gratitude to each and every person who supported this initial phase of our endeavor, however in vain it may be, we still want to thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts.
