SEE ALDER STREET WHILE YOU CAN – TONIGHT!
Tonight’s Show by Local Bluegrass Pioneers May be Their Last for a While
For those in the know, theirs is a party atmosphere with a uniquely rootsy PNW feel. And if you’ve not yet experienced the Alder Street extravaganza, you’re advised to see them here THIS EVENING (Saturday, Oct. 17 beginning at 6:30 pm)!
That’s right, rumor (or more precisely, the band’s own Instagram page) has it that Alder Street will likely be on hiatus for a while after this evening, as their “guitarist has procreated and is expecting a child in early November.”
Congratulations are of course due, and what better way to celebrate than to join Alder Street here tonight for a rip-roaring Saturday evening!
There have, of course, been many such wild evenings in the history of a band that’s been a local mainstay for well over a decade, one that has always pushed the boundaries of its own chosen genre(s).
“Alder Street is boot-stompin’, gritty and bourbon-flavored. The band draws its inspiration from a variety of sources, evinced by original tunes that break the mold of traditional bluegrass…”
Fronted by the demon-angel vocals of Jesse Lawton, Alder Street are impossible to ignore, easy to enjoy and difficult to forget. We can’t wait to welcome back our old friends, and we’re counting on you to help make tonight truly unforgettable…
