Skywyld Farm is a small-scale farm in Cottonwood, CA growing and selling specialty cut flowers with sustainability in mind. I offer celosias, grasses, strawflowers, sunflowers and zinnias as well as other unusual and heirloom dried flowers. MISSION AND ASPIRATIONS

HISTORY
Where It All Began

My great-grandmother and grandmother were farmers, and my mother was an avid gardener who grew vegetables and morning glories every summer. These women loved God and had grit, and were incredible role models for me. I intend to honor them, and God, by offering sustainably-grown dried florals to our community.

☀️ Important Summer Update from Skywyld Farm 💐

The summer heat is officially here, and we are adjusting our schedule at the farm for July and August to keep our blooms (and ourselves) fresh!

⚠️ Please Note: Starting in July, we will be taking a two-month hiatus from the Cottonwood Certified Farmers Market for the months of July and August. We will truly miss seeing your faces every week, but don’t worry—we will be right back in our usual market spot come September!

While our Saturday market booth is resting, here is exactly where you can still find our flowers and what we are up to this summer:

💐 Summer Subscribers: Your big, beautiful bouquets are locked in! They will continue to arrive right on schedule, every other week all summer long. We can’t wait to keep filling your homes with color, and wow, your bouquets are going to be gorgeous this week!

☕ The Bean on Thursdays: Need your weekly fresh flower fix? We are still dropping off fresh, seasonal bouquets every single Thursday! Grab your iced coffee and a little something fresh for your table in one air-conditioned stop.

🍂 Fall Dried Flowers: This entire space you see here (plus another I’m in the process of building) is dedicated to hang-drying blooms right now for natural, everlasting beauty. We are building up an incredible collection for autumn weddings, home decor, and specifically for Roses & Rust Marketplace this fall!

Good morning, Cottonwood! 🌿 We’re set up and fully stocked at the Farmers Market today from 9 AM to 1 PM.

The buckets are overflowing with fresh, field-grown bouquets—the zinnias, lisianthus, and snapdragons are really showing off today! Alongside the fresh cuts, we also brought a huge selection of live plants so you can get your own dirt therapy started this weekend.

Sunday morning, we’ll be loading up the Westfalia and heading to the Cottonwood Certified Farmers Market. We’re bringing a bunch of healthy seedlings ready for your garden, plus plenty of fresh-cut flowers.

Here are the plant starts we’ll have with us:
🌻 Sunflowers (Teddy Bear, Autumn Beauty, Soraya, & Orange Hobbit)
🤍 Gomphrena (QIS White, QIS Orange, Salmon Pastel, & Sequin)
✨ Zinnias (Queeny Orange & Queeny Lemon Peach)
🌿 Scented Basils (Aromatto, Mrs. Burns Lemon, & Cinnamon)

For fresh cuts, we’ll have our field-grown mixed bouquets for $20 plus single-variety bundles of Lisianthus, Snapdragons, Strawflowers, Sunflowers, Zinnias, Foxglove, and more for $10, making fresh flowers available to everyone 💐

Pure abundance in the floral studio today! 🌿

So much gratitude to Steph and Nelly for showing up early this morning, for their incredible hustle getting the last of this season’s seedlings in the ground, and for an efficient harvest.

We brought in massive, 4-foot-tall cuts of strawflower and nigella! It takes a serious amount of work to harvest, strip, and cut every single one of those tall stems down to a manageable size. We are doing the heavy lifting now so these blooms are absolutely perfect for our fall sales at the Roses & Rust Marketplace in November 🍂 Roses & Rust Marketplace

Meanwhile, the freshest cuts of Lisianthus, zinnias, feverfew, and foxglove are getting prepped for 30 custom order bouquets going out the door tomorrow. This has been such a good week on the farm!

We have one more big field harvest on Saturday to get everything ready for Sunday’s Farmers Market right here in Cottonwood. Thank you to everyone who is supporting Skywyld Farm this year and for your love of seasonal, field-grown flowers—I couldn’t do what I love without this amazing community 🩷

A big, beautiful Sunday is just around the corner for Cottonwood! 🌾✨🌸

We’re bringing a range of colors to the Cottonwood Certified Farmers Market this Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Stunning yellow Lisianthus and crisp pink strawflowers will be into our market bouquets this weekend as well as lavender Lisianthus and stunning golden strawflower!

If you prefer to mix and match, we’re also bringing single-variety bundles of Benary’s Giant Zinnias, peach Foxglove, dainty feverfew, and the very first of this year’s Rudbeckia and vibrant statice.

There is so much happening at the market this weekend—live music, a cooking class, yoga, and the Little League tournament right next door. Come for the fun, support our North State farmers and makers:

ANNOUNCEMENT: If you’ve picked up a Skywyld Farm bouquet lately, you know how much we love that classic, rustic kraft paper wrap. It’s a timeless look for a local flower farm, and we love how grounded it feels!

We always want to help you keep your flowers as fresh as possible—it's why we started stamping our bouquet sleeves years ago with a custom flower care guide 🌾

But around here, we are always looking for ways to keep growing, evolving, and telling a deeper story with our flowers.

Starting this morning, you’ll be able to spot a distinct new Skywyld Farm signature at the stand. Tucked inside our stamped kraft wrap, you’ll now find a beautiful, crinkly layered tissue wrap.

We curated this specific palette to reflect the very soil we grow in right here in Cottonwood. You’ll see shades of earthy green, rustic gold, taupe, and cream—a direct reflection of the gorgeous blue oaks that surround our farm and the rolling golden hills of our home country.
