ASSISTANT MANAGER
Cottonwood Livestock Auction is seeking a reliable, self-motivated and organized individual with livestock experience to join our feedlot and auction yard team as Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities include assisting with daily yard and feedlot operations, supervising employees, operating a feed truck, handling livestock, maintaining facilities and coordinating cattle movement on sale days. The position also involves operating and maintaining farm machinery, trucks, skid steers and loaders, along with performing general maintenance and repairs.
Applicants should have strong livestock-handling, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to work independently and willing to take an active role in all aspects of the operation.
Housing is available. The position is located in Cottonwood, a welcoming, family-oriented community in north-central Idaho with top-notch schools and convenient access to hunting, fishing and year-round recreational opportunities.
