Join us for a hot meal and local resources! 🍽️📚

Every first Saturday of the month, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, we're serving up a warm meal and offering opportunities to pick up local resources and supplies.
Can't join us for lunch? No problem! You can also pick up your meal to-go.

May 18th is the next Soup Kitchen. We didn’t have space availability for April. If you know someone who would benefit from a delivery in a 10 mile radius share and let’s get them signed up.

The menu is set and we are getting things ready for this Saturday.
We are very happy to be able to offer delivery for anyone that can’t make it to the kitchen with in 10 miles.
If you need conversation, friendly fellowship, or information, stop in and grab a yummy warm lunch and some free goodies.

Donations have been coming in by mail and being dropped off! We have a list of volunteers for this month… if you weren’t contacted no worries there will be plenty of months and I will be contacting you soon! Keep spreading the word!

Hello, it has been awhile...but we finally have jumped through all the hoops and the first Non Profit Coudersport Community Kitchen will be Feb 17th 11-1 at the Coudersport Consistory. Everyone is welcome.
We have our previous list of volunteers and expect to need 10 volunteers per month. If you would like to be added to the list let me know, there will be plenty of time to volunteer.
We acquired our start up funds from the Gold Church VBS and are very appreciative to them for the help.
How can you help

Hello!! The Soup Kitchen is still moving forward… I know we keep saying that. 😊
We have had a few set backs and some wonderful things happen as well. So let’s update…
We have secured the place
We have the insurance policy covered and ready to start
We had a wonderful donation to cover a few months worth of food by the Gold Church VBS
We have all of you asking and wanting to help
We have a menu planned out

What we didn’t know was that we have to create a non profit organization for this to move forward which is taking longer than expected
We also found out that we are not a match for the Food Pantry Grant for this year (hopefully next) so we sent out letters asking for donations to a few local organizations and businesses to hopefully fund the rest of the year.
We also are looking for board members for the Non profit so if you are interested please reach out!
We want this to happen! We have spent a lot of time on it and it will happen.
We so appreciate all your patience and are just excited to get this up and running as you all are!
At this time the tentative date of July 29th will not be happening and I don’t want to promise a date until we get everything in order.

Once that happens I will send out another post with a date and we will get things set.

We have are still working and moving forward with the Soup Kitchen! I still have people to respond to that have offered to help and no worries I will be reaching out.
Unfortunately this is my husbands and Myselfs busy season, but we are doing our best to keep things moving along.
The date is still set and it is still happening.
We were to excited to have the location and Insurance covered after a few challenges. We then hit a snag with what we thought was all taken care of, the donation of the food. The biggest piece of the plan and it unfortunately fell through after my last post.
So I am looking for other avenues and or pricing to see what it would cost and covering that expense. Thank you so much for all your reach outs, questions and excitement. Know that this is still on our minds and still happening! We want it to be great!

Our First Community Kitchen will be Sat July 29th time to be determined. It will be held at the Coudersport Consitory!

We know it is a ways away, and I was hoping to have one sooner, but there is a lot of planning to be done for the first one so this gives us plenty of time.

With that said I will be contacting everyone that posted about helping, to get everyone organized. The amount of comments and support has been amazing! This will be a monthly event so there is lots of time for volunteering! Thank you all ❤️ 🥣

Whoop whoop we have our insurance under wraps thanks to some fantastic donors. We will be picking a date this week and getting things rolling.
If anyone would be interested in making a few phone calls and helping compiling a list of organizations that offer services that would be a huge help.
