Today was so hard, rewarding, and therapeutic all in the same day.

We processed 50 chickens at our farm.

Our pasture raised chicken literally had the best lives they could have. Plenty of fresh air, sunshine, grass, and organic feed.

People are so far removed from how their food is grown and processed. We hope this one small thing helps some people bridge the gap.

Big things are happening on the farm! We are installing underground watering systems which will save us time filling up troughs... and our sanity in the winter when we don't have to break up ice.
This also allows us to continue good regenerative farming practices with rotational grazing during the spring and summer months

In case you didn't see our post a few weeks ago, we are taking deposits for pasture raised broiler chickens.
Our chickens are raised outside and fed organic feed. The taste is unmatched!
They will be ready mid June for pick up.
