When my brother and I were just kids, we remember standing in line at the Salvation Army to get school supplies before the first day of school.
Those backpacks and notebooks meant a lot to our family, and it’s something we’ve never forgotten.
Today, we’re in a position to give back.
Together, our family’s three businesses Helados El Guero, Firehouse Mexican Bar & Grill, will each be giving away 50 backpacks filled with notebooks, folders, pencils, and other school essentials.
That’s 150 backpacks going back into the hands of local students.
This community has supported our family for years, and this is just one small way we can say thank you.
