Listening to the BBC World News this morning... Reminds me that as a child I had a small crystal radio with earphone that would let me hear news and programming from all over the planet. I would clip the alligator clip to the wire bed spring of the overhead upper bunk, this sufficed as one of the best aerials known at that time. This MW Band transistor radio covers just about everything anyone could want in a full featured multiband radio from the mid last century. AC or 4 D battery power, the rest of the world is included at no extra charge.
