Chef Bailey Rodgers! The ultimate definition of day one here at Goldie’s. He’s been here before we had the permits in order and everything. He took a chance in a brand restaurant and I’m glad he did. Started as entry level cook and has grown and adapted to the role of sous chef and the face of production. Chefs right hand for sure.

As the team says, “Dude genuinely loves to cook and you can see that every day, even during the tough ones.” Bailey is someone who looks out for and helps his team whether at work or out of it. He is someone you can depend upon wholeheartedly. With a calm energy that everyone gravitates too, he’s fun to work with, works hard and is always a pleasure to be around.

Fresh pies just landed. If you ask the team what they’re ordering, chances are they’ll point you toward The Farm. It’s become the unsuspecting staff favorite for a reason.

The Farm (vegan): Green chili pistachio cream, smoked cauliflower, blistered shish*tos, achiote potato, pickled tomatillo & red onion.
The Curd (vegetarian): Preserved lemon labneh, chermoula grilled eggplant, fennel, turmeric pickled cabbage

The Pasture (carnivore): Creme fraiche, provolone, miso-ginger braised chicken, roasted broccolini, carrot-cucumber salad

02. goldie’s & the roost the pizza spot with the bar on top. known for sourdough crust and funky takes on classic pies plus fresh veggie starters and pastas to pass around the table.

03. The Oystercatcher the highly local and seasonal scratch kitchen, where everything is made in house daily and flows with what’s fresh. the chef tasting menu is exactly what a weekend getaway on Whidbey call for.
