Sassy Fluff Farm We breed and raise Mini Rex to ARBA standards. My kids started showing rabbits in 4H and ARBA in 2021. We also have Nigerian Dwarf goats and chickens.

We are a small family homestead and love what we do ❤️

Picking what rabbits to breed. She ended up picking 5 pairings and wanted to do 6 total but I told her we needed to wait and see how many we get from these 5 rabbits. We are going to have them coming out of our ears 🫣 but I’m happy to see her making decisions on who to put together on her own.

Chores don’t stop just because there’s ice on the ground and it’s cold. Chickens are staying in their coop mostly. Rabbits are in the enclosed draft free barn but with no power we put hay in cages and fed and watered them. Back inside for us to warm up by the fireplace. 🥶❄️🧊

We ALWAYS have the best time at our Red River Parish Livestock Show. It might be small but the ladies who work tirelessly to put it together always rock it and it means so much to our kids. Thank y’all for always going above and beyond and making the show awesome! Xander even got in the ring to help Katelynn show her lamb and pig. He was nervous but he did good even if he didn’t know the first thing about it. Katelynn was trying to give him a crash course before they went in.

Another show done! We went to Alexandria for the LRBA MDW Show. Adaline won BOSB with her homegrown broken Mini Rex doe....

Another show done! We went to Alexandria for the LRBA MDW Show. Adaline won BOSB with her homegrown broken Mini Rex doe. She was so excited. We truly enjoyed this show. It was amazing! There was a ton for the youth to do and I think everything ran pretty smoothly! I can’t want to see what the future has in store for LRBA.

We went to FBRC Hop Til You Drop show this weekend and it was just us girls. We had fun seeing everyone and visiting with all our rabbit family. Now we are home and I’m not moving for at least 24 hours.

Baby time at the rabbitry…we love when we have babies in the barn. We can’t wait to see what they grow out to look like....
