🌾 Farmer Spotlight: Chris 🌾
After 20 years in the Army, Chris felt God calling him to a new mission—farming. He didn’t grow up on a farm, but now he’s embracing every challenge, learning, and growing along the way.
Chris is completing an 18-month farm manager apprenticeship through another program, right here on our farm. He’s gaining hands-on experience in livestock care, pasture management, pest and parasite control, and equipment operation—building the skills to lead a farm with faith and purpose. 🐄🚜
What he loves most? Seeing God’s hand in everything. Every challenge, every small success, and every hard day is a chance to grow and become a faithful steward of what he’s been entrusted with. 🌱🙏
When he’s off the clock, you’ll find Chris fishing 🎣 or making memories with his family. From Army service to the farm, his journey is proof that it’s never too late to follow a calling and start something new.
We’re proud to have Chris here and excited to watch where this season of learning takes him!
