We are surrounded by abundance & generosity.

Thank you to everyone who supported our farm transition fundraiser this week. You have given so much to keep the farm going and to help Indy and Garrett have a good spring start.

We really feel the appreciation and love and know it goes both ways.

The fundraiser is still open, but there are MANY other good causes and a lot of need out there. We have enough, so if you're looking for another place to donate, here are a few suggestions.

1. Oregon Agricultural Trust. OAT has been helping us--for free--work through this new way of doing Nella Mae's Farm. Thanks to Tess, Nellie and the whole crew. www.oregonagtrust.org

2. Cancer Commons. Hatch and I have been so impressed and thankful for their free advising for cancer patients on clinical trials. www.cancercommons.org

3. Oregon Rural Action. I (Nella Mae) also work on rural water pollution, immigrant justice, and rural democracy with ORA. We have an emergency fundraiser to support our work with immigrant neighbors. www.oregonrural.org

Thank you friends.

Love, Nella Mae

Fundraiser Thank You from Garrett:

"I’m watching our 10K ask turn into 16K, our neighbors turn into partners, and our hopes turn into plans! Absolutely incredible community support, as quick and as full as I ever could have imagined! Deeply, deeply, on behalf of the whole crew, and every family eating from our efforts, and yours, thank you, and thank you!

Indy and I are seeding, and prepping and planning like crazy, and because of all of you wonderful folks, those plans are becoming schedules, and those seeds are becoming meals"

THE GROUNDHOG’S DAY MIRACLE! You all are amazing. We had hoped to raise $10K (fingers crossed, if we’re lucky) by the end of February. You all did it in a single day—Groundhog’s Day! Folks are still welcome to donate, but we know there is a lot of need out there right now. Here are a few other places to send money to support good work.

1. Oregon Agricultural Trust—they are helping us with our business planning and transition for free. www.oregonagtrust.org

2. Oregon Rural Action—the other place I work on drinking water pollution, immigrant justice, and rural democracy in eastern Oregon. www.oregonrural.org

3. Cancer Commons. An amazing organization that matches cancer patients with researchers to find clinical trials. www.cancercommons.org

We are hosting at THANK YOU DINNER on April 11th at 6pm at Cove Ascension School for all you donors. There will be locally-sourced food and music from our friend and comrade in agriculture, Brian Mandella. We will send you invites soon. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts. Your love and support is simply staggering.

We are SURROUNDED by generosity❤️

And, as Indy says to celebrate things, Salad for President!
