Family wanted to get some berries following family reunion

Bushes reached 6ft. With rainy spring,then extreme heat bees didn’t pollinate much. Hence berries went from 16M lbs last year to only 8M this year.

After returning from 4th of July break, started to cash in for the year when leaves began browning and berries started shrinking. Strategy to unload pond every nite on field for irrigation. Resulted in salvaging crop. First, season to market with Blueberries. So far 2 pickings. Ready for 3rd.

Blossoms produced mucho blueberries this summer. Most interesting year. Experienced drought throughout the season. Many growers suffered burn out fields with no irrigation.

Blossoms are a plenty. Huge increase over last years development. I imagine there will plenty of friends and relatives timing their visits this summer (projecting early mid August picking). Stay tuned for more accurate forecast. I may need all the help I can get this year.

40 acres with camping, nature trials, water creek, pond for fishing, deer and wild turkey hunting near Lake Michigan. 2 blueberry fields on grounds.
