And that's a wrap! Today was all about chocolate and let me tell you it is messy! Luckily the kids were awesome and helped clean up. You can see I have a little more cleaning to do.

Candy Camp Day 4. Not all recipes are as advertised. I had my doubts this one would work, and didn't get s chance to test it before class...I know, I know, you should ALWAYS test recipes. In this case, though, I knew there would be a cool.effect and it would taste good, so we went for it! It was advertised as Pop Rocks, but was more like Airheads. And i was right: it DID have a cool effect and it DID taste good.

Day 3 of Candy Camp and I'm realizing this may not be good for my health. I had marshmallows for breakfast, rice krispie treats for lunch, and this was dessert. (We did not make Scooter Crunches, this was a treat i got when I left Baker Hunt today.)

We DID make Twizzlers, a jello/marshmallow candy, and rice krispie treats with homemade marshmallow and homemade sprinkles.

What I learned at Day 2 of Candy Camp: homemade sprinkles are fun, it's easier to make marshmallows with kids if there is 1 adult per child, and sugar syrup does not make good hair gel.
