Hello everyone, it has been a while since I updated anything on here so I figured I'd throw out some current info! Our last group of finished calves sold very fast so we won't have anything finished until roughly around September/October. We've got 47 calves around 6-700 lbs right now on feed and our spring calves are coming along quite nicely! Due to processors being affected by Covid-19 be it temporary closures or increasingly packed schedules I would recommend calling sooner than later to look into scheduling an appointment. Stay safe everyone, I'll be posting more as this group of calves approaches finishing weight!

We've got 21 finish to near finish calves in the lot right now! They've been averaging around 1300 lbs. in the last few loads we've taken for individuals, which seems to be a pretty sweet spot for finished Red Angus. Ordering now would likely put you into 2020! DM if interested!

I'm going to get a head start on a few common questions that people might have:

1. Are your cattle grass fed?
ANSWER: Though alfalfa is a general part of their diet, no, they aren't solely fed on free choice grass.

2. Is your beef gluten-free?
ANSWER: The short answer is yes. Before protein is absorbed it is broken down into single amino acids or very short peptide fragments-no longer gluten.

3. How much does it cost?
ANSWER: We go by market price at the time of drop off as a rule. Which we'll work out with you when we deal.

4. Can I only get hamburger?
ANSWER: As the customer you will be choosing the slaughterhouse, though we can make recommendations. As such you'll have to work out how you customize your order with them. Most places are fairly flexible.
