Wressell Ranch is looking for a friendly wethered male goat, ideally around 1 year old or older, to be a companion for our Mini Nubian buck. We’re a small, family‑run hobby farm in the Lake Morton/Covington area, and our animals are truly part of our daily life.

What we’re looking for:

- Wethered male, 1 year and up, needs to be big enough to play with a full grown mini buck.
- From a clean‑tested herd
- Gentle, social temperament
- Will consider smaller breeds or full‑size
- Must get along well with other goats

Alright y’all, I’m looking for someone who actually likes real farm work — not the Instagram version. If you know your way around muck, mud, and manure and can show up when you say you will, keep reading.

Must have:

• Your own reliable transportation
• Prior farm experience (not “I once pet a goat”)
• References I can actually call

Jobs include:

• Mucking coops
• Picking paddocks
• Moving heavy things that don’t complain but I might
• Sweating, getting dirty, and doing the kind of work that makes a shower feel like a religious experience

I need someone strong, dependable, and not afraid to get in there and get it done. If you’re the type who shows up ready to work and doesn’t wilt at the first whiff of a chicken coop, we’ll get along just fine.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

🌧️ Rainy days on the farm mean soggy boots and muddy paths—but Bear and Cru know just where to be. These two big-hearted LGDs have burrowed deep into the hay, tucked away like sleepy sentinels in their golden fortress.

While the storm rolls on outside, they’re curled up in peace, still keeping quiet watch over their flock and their home. There’s something so comforting about seeing them rest—knowing they’ll rise when needed, but for now, they’re safe, dry, and loved.

Grateful for these gentle giants and the calm they bring to even the stormiest days. 🐾💛
