Zimmer Century Tree Farm LLC

Zimmer Century Tree Farm LLC Christmas Tree lot opening Saturday 11/29 β€” come and see us for the 2025 season! Hours: Sat. 10-5, Sun. 1-5.

In 2005 we celebrated 175 years and 8 generations on the same family farm. We have been growing Christmas trees since 1987 and have about 70 acres in various stages of production.

We’ve all been really looking forward to the start of the Christmas season and we hope you have been too! The tree lot is ready to open tomorrow, with a nice variety of trees to choose from.

We have mostly Spruce trees now, but you will still find some Fraser, Canaan and a few Concolor Firs mixed in. We never start cutting trees until right around Thanksgiving, so you know your tree will be fresh! Or you can always choose and cut your own if you prefer.

Our hours are Saturdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 1-5 for the next few weekends. As before, we will have drawings each week for some local gift cards! We hope to see you soon!πŸŽ„

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We hope you all enjoyed some great meals with your families.πŸ₯§ Now that we've had a little snow, let the Christmas season begin!❄️

Come and see us for your fresh cut Christmas trees!πŸŽ„We will be open on Saturdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 1-5. Our choose and cut selection is getting more limited, with several varieties of spruce and very large Canaan firs. But we will still have a nice assortment of lot trees, as well as greens for decorating! The Grand firs have had a rough year and are now in very limited supply.

🚧 Please note, if you are coming from Mansfield and normally would turn at the light in Covington, you will need to take a slight detour this year due to a bridge out on Canada Road. Rather than turning in Covington, proceed on old Route 15 (Williamson Road) about a mile to the intersection with the south end of Canada Road, and take a sharp right. You'll see the signs.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

It's almost Thanksgiving, so that means the 2023 Christmas season is right around the corner! πŸŽ„We are getting things ready to open the tree farm this Saturday, 11/25. Our hours will be Saturdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 1-5 and very limited other times by appointment.

The late May frost was hard on some species of trees this year. We still have plenty of nice trees, but we'll be bringing many to the lot from our other farm. There will be fewer options to choose and cut yourself (unless you want a gigantic tree--you regulars with the cathedral ceilings know who you are! Please come see us.)

Many people have asked about fir trees. We no longer have Concolors or Douglas firs, and the selection of Frasers and Canaans is also dwindling. But we have Grand firs and a wide variety of spruce trees. Sizes range from about 4 to 12+ feet. Greens will be available for a small fee as well.

Another question we often get is about photography.πŸ“· If you would like to take family pictures at the farm during the times we are open for tree sales it is fine; other times we cannot really accommodate this due to hunting.

We accept cash or checks or Venmo but not credit cards. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the next few weeks! Happy Holidays! πŸŽ€

Hello, my name is Rory! What kind of tree can I help you find today? Maybe we could find some rabbits while we’re at it?...

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
Not only green in summer's heat,
But also winter's snow and sleet.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely;
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely,
Each year you bring to us delight
With brightly shining Christmas light!
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely.

There are many versions of that song, but the songwriter(s) didn't mention the awesome SMELL! That's the best part, and when it is on all our work clothes, we know Christmas is almost here! 🌲

The tree farm will open on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Hours are Saturdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 1-5, or other times by appointment. (We are a small, family operation and we work other jobs during the week, but late afternoon appointments can sometimes be arranged.)

Our fir trees have gotten very large, so if you're looking for something to reach your cathedral ceiling, come see us! Smaller firs are now in somewhat limited supply, but we still have a nice selection of spruce trees.

Don't forget to bring your pets! We hope to see you soon! πŸŽ„

Happy Thanksgiving! We hope everyone enjoys great food and great conversation today as we pause and reflect on how truly blessed we are. πŸ™

The tree farm will open as usual this Saturday, when we all switch from Thanksgiving mode to Christmas mode! Despite an incredibly wet year, the trees look good and we have a nice variety of species and sizes available. You can choose a fresh lot tree or cut your own! 🌲

Our hours are 10-5 on Saturdays and 1-5 on Sunday afternoons. We can occasionally accommodate weekday afternoon appointments, but we are teachers, so if school is open we generally are not. 😊

We love it when you bring your pets! Hope to see you soon! 🐢

Due to all the snow, we are not going to be open this weekend (12/19-12/20) as planned, however, there are about 20 trees left on the lot. If you still need one and can get here, let us know and someone can meet you! You can have any remaining lot tree for a small donation, which we will forward to a local food pantry. Thank you!

It’s almost time!! With all the uncertainty and stress this year, we are due for some holiday cheer! Here’s hoping everyone's Christmas season is full of lots of love and laughs and memories, even if some gatherings are different than usual.

The tree farm will be open on Saturdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 1-5, beginning on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We are no longer planting trees and are beginning to phase out of some species, but we still have a lot to choose from!

We will continue our weekly drawings for gift certificates to favorite (always local) businesses! We look forward to this part each year!

As always, we prefer not to cut trees for the lot before Thanksgiving, but if you want to decorate earlier, we can make arrangements for you to choose and cut your own tree the previous weekend or weekday afternoons from 4-5. Please call ahead or use FB Messenger to schedule appointments outside of our regular hours.

We love being part of a holiday tradition that remains unchanged, despite these crazy times. Come see us!

Christmas Peace to all of our customers, friends and family! πŸŽ„
