After more than a year of my cake pans being packed away while we built our new home, they finally made their grand comeback! 🎂🏠

The very first cake baked in our new kitchen was for a dear friend’s surprise 60th birthday, because a brand-new oven needed to be properly broken in with butter, sugar, and a mild amount of panic! 😂

Happy 60th birthday to a very special friend! Here’s to new homes, old friends, and many more cakes to come! 🥳❤️
