💙🌾 What an incredible day at Turner Angus Farm! 🌾💙

We were honored to serve as the host venue for Farm Day 2026, presented by the Tipton County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee.

The Women’s Committee did an outstanding job organizing a day full of agricultural education, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and family fun for our community. It was amazing to see so many children and families enjoying the opportunity to experience agriculture firsthand.

From farm tours and pony rides to milking demonstrations, drones, tractors, animals, puppet shows, and educational exhibits—there truly was something for everyone.

A huge thank you to the Tipton County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee, volunteers, sponsors, FFA members, farms, businesses, and vendors who worked together to make the event such a success.

We are proud to have opened our farm to help support agricultural education and community outreach here in Tipton County.

Turner Angus Farm is honored to be one of the featured stops on the 2026 Lauderdale & Tipton County Cattlemen’s Tour hosted by UT Extension and the local Cattlemen’s Associations.

This educational evening tour will feature:
🐄 Backgrounding cattle operations
🌰 Diversification through pecan production
🍕 Seedstock cattle, agritourism, and dinner at Turner Angus Farm

We wanted to help spread the word and invite our local agriculture community to attend this special evening highlighting agriculture across our region.

We’ve been busy moving the store to a new space with a 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤, and our vendors are now 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫. It’s easier to shop, easier to browse, and full of local products we’re proud to carry.

Whether you’re coming out for Pizza Farm Nights or just need a reason to get out of the house…

The sun showed up today, and the snow is finally giving way.
Not to spring — just to 𝐌𝐔𝐃.

This is the season in between.
When frozen ground turns soft.
When boots get heavier.
When higher ground is the goal… even when it’s not always an option.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒𝐍’𝐓 𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖 — 𝐈𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐒.

So while we’re no longer breaking ice, we’re wading through 𝐌𝐔𝐃, checking cattle, adjusting plans, and doing what farmers have always done — adapting.

‼️And let’s talk about that groundhog who saw his shadow?
In Pennsylvania they trust him with the weather forecast…
here on the farm, he broke into the feed room, ate the corn, and let’s just say his shadow privileges were permanently revoked. 😏
