Eagle Brook Farm is located in Crab Orchard, KY on 53 beautiful acres. We sell free range chicken and duck eggs; duck, rabbit, chicken, turkey and quail meat, and quail eggs (for hatching or eating). Upon occasion, we will have live chicken, turkeys, quail, guineas, ducks, and geese for sale.

Market went well today. Positive feedback on our new taco seasoning. We also sold out of our new garlic parmesan seasoning (which is soooooo yummy). Still working on tweaking a Italian sausage seasoning.

Trying out an Italian sausage seasoning today on some ground turkey. Fingers crossed it's yummy. If so, it will be showing up at the farmers market in the near future.

At the Madison County Farmers Market today. We have new: Orange Julius drink mix, lime candy, vanilla yogurt candy, banana chocolate candy and new off the freeze drier.... watermelon, okra, and cucumber! Come join us!

We've had the freeze dryer going this week. For Saturday's Madison County Farmers Market 6/27, we have new from the freeze dried:
Watermelon
Lime jello (just a few as a test, sugar free) - really good with a serious lime bite.
Vanilla yogurt (again, just a few). You can really taste the cultures... it almost has a citrus taste
AND ....
Bananas with chocolate pudding and cool whip bites. Yummy.

We tested a brownie with the pudding/cool whip mixture on it. Really good! That's coming next.

We also included cosmic crisp apples and pumpkin in this run to restock. Yum.

Taking a break and then it's on to seasonings! We're going to make a few be salt-free for our salt conscious friends.

All restocked for the Madison County Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday, June 13, from 9 to 12 (closing an hour early this week).

Next week we'll have at least one new item... I'm in the testing phase of a copycat Old Bay Seasoning. I want to do another seasoning, but undecided which... spaghetti seasoning, pizza seasoning, chili powder (homemade), or a taco seasoning. So many choices! Or maybe the brown gravy mix? Hmmm.

We're also looking for some okra as several of you have requested it. I started some okra seedlings, so we'll have some towards the end of the season.

No payday bars this week. They will return next Saturday.

With a sad heart today. We found our LGD dead yesterday. Looks like she got into something she shouldn't have and choked. RIP Tasha.

We made some "Slap Your Mama" and "Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning" today. Super yummy . Less salt than the store brand...

We made some "Slap Your Mama" and "Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning" today. Super yummy . Less salt than the store brand and more flavorful. We'll have these for the farmers market this weekend.

Working on a chocolate peanut butter seasoning for popcorn too. Or put it on ice cream... or in a smoothie.... I'm thinking of a few yummy places to put it.

We also are restocking the ranch dressing mix, the trail mix, and payday bars.
