On May 15, 2012 leaders from the community and local churches met to discuss the Wild Game and Hog Roast Event. All participants at the meeting unanimously decided to move the date for this event to October to allow more time for planning as well as fellowship between community leaders and local churches.

The City of Crab Orchard will be holding their annual festivities at Crab Orchard City Park on July 7, 2012, and we will be there to promote the Wild Game and Hog Roast Event. Last year the city's event had sponsored booths, a dunking booth, food, vendors, and more -- topped off near dark with a great fireworks show sponsored by Liberty Market. We hope to see you there!

The next organizational planning meeting for the July 7, 2012 Wild Game and Hog Roast Event is scheduled for May 15, 2012 at 6:00pm CDT at 217 Wheeler Lane, Crab Orchard, TN (just off I-40 at exit 329). Everyone is welcome to attend!
