It was a good run 🫠

I used to think love was permanent, a true constant; but now I know it grows more like a tree and can wilt like a flower.

I used to think it was conditional, but now I know it doesn’t need conditions, just a willing and able giver/receiver.

I used to think it was ruled by time, but now I have learned it exists outside of time and space, and can give the illusion it’s only been 100 days after deeply loving for 100 years.

I used to believe it required sacrifice, but now I know it requires authenticity.

I used to dream dreams of unrequited love, and now I know Love was dreaming dreams about me.

I used to believe Love was elusive, but it was just waiting for me at the corner of self-love and grief… grief, grief… grieving.

- Grieving you weren’t the one who raised me.
- Grieving it wasn’t you who could’ve protected me.
- Grieving I didn’t know you sooner.
- Grieving that I took so long to admit that I was grieving.
- Grieving for not knowing then what I know now.
- Grieving what I thought Love was.

*Self-love says I know I’m worth it and so are you.
- It says I deserve kindness and so do you.
- It says I should be heard and so should you.
- It says I should get the chance to be free, so should you.
- It says I fully accept who I am, and I accept you too.
- It says I do no intentional harm to myself, and neither to you.
- It says I’ll climb mountains to reach my goals, and just as many for yours.

10 years has been the container of time that has held these lessons, proving to me that love is nothing what I thought it was. But I thank you Roy Arnold for being the patient and intentional scribe that has marked them on my heart and mind forever.

Happy anniversary ya schmuck, way to make the thought of losing you unbearable. I Love you to the moon and back. ❤️

Olivia was enjoying a vacation in Spain with friends when her trip took a frightening and unexpected turn. She began experiencing severe headaches, and after seeking medical attention, doctors discovered a large brain mass that requires urgent surgery. Because it is not safe for Olivia to fly back to the United States, she will need to undergo the procedure in Spain.

Thankfully, Olivia’s immediate family has been able to travel to Spain to be by her side during this difficult time. While the circumstances are incredibly challenging, she continues to face them with the same positivity, resilience, humor (TUMORZILLA), and lighthearted spirit that everyone who knows her has come to love.

The costs are overwhelming, and insurance will likely not cover much of the expenses associated with her hospitalization, surgery, ongoing care, and eventual travel back to the United States. Her surgery costs $80,000 which Olivia and her family have had to pay for upfront. With that, Olivia and her family are facing significant financial uncertainty at a time when their focus should be on her treatment and recovery.
