We harvested our meat birds this past weekend and 6 roosters that we hatched this spring. We took the 6 roosters and put them right in a pot with water cooked the meat then Lilly picked the meat off and put the bones back in the water. We added veggies and made bone broth. We got 9 pints of chicken meat and 10 quarts or bone broth to add to our pantry.
