Charlotte, VT-area residents: The Charlotte Library is a community hub, with tons of programs for community members of all ages! They are always offering something new and interesting. From Book Club to Garden Circle to visits from the VT Institute of Natural Sciences.

And you can also pick up Organic, Farm-Fresh Produce there as well!
Every Thursday we deliver CSA shares from our farm to the Charlotte Library. You can swing by, pick up your share and go, or linger a while, peruse the books, checkout a new program, and enjoy their glorious front porch! 🌞

It feels like Christmas in June! 🎁🎄 Our CSA boxes this week are overflowing with bunched veggies, cherry tomatoes, fennel, kohlrabi, and tons of fresh greens; Our Pantry Share features 3 luxuriously delicious local products - A mix of sh*take, blue, and black pearl oyster mushrooms from , Quinby goat cheese from Barn First Creamery, and rustic Sourdough bread from . Yum!

AND you can pickup a box of mixed mushrooms at our farmstand too! Along with tons of seasonal veggies and more. We're open daily from 9am - 7pm.
On Wednesdays, food truck is at our farmstand serving up delicious tacos and burritos! 😋 Come see us!!

Want to feature this year's 'Veggie of the Year' in your store or on your menu at a great price? Our organic, locally-grown green cabbage is currently on sale for $50 for a 50lb box and $15 for a 10lb box. There are so many ways to prepare cabbage, you can get really creative with it. Consider pairing it with our cilantro and radishes in a cilantro lime radish slaw, or in a noodle dish with chard and a sesame-soy sauce.

It's a perfect farmstand weekend and we've got some "kale-r" things at the farmstand now - fresh veggies, of course, plus fresh bread (Elmore Mountain Baking & Weak's Peak Farm), and local flowers, cheese, meat, jams, granola, ice cream, grains, maple syrup, and more! Have a kale-r weekend, everyone! 🌞🤙

We have new products at our farmstand this weekend! 📣 📣📣 Umamiso Vermont Traditional Miso and Chickpea Miso! Staff tested and highly recommended! Look for them in the refrigerated section. 😉
Yoko Tarrant started Umamiso when she couldn't find miso that was like what she enjoyed in her native Japan. Yoko uses traditional Japanese methods to make her miso, meaning it's not ultra-processed. In fact, the miso needs to ferment at least 10 months! It all starts with fermented rice (koji), that she makes in small batches and then finishes with simple, quality ingredients.

Stop by the farmstand any day from 9am - 7pm! While you're there, pick up some veggies to stir fry with your miso or make a salad with a miso dressing.

June is national dairy month and today is National Cheese Day! 🧀 We are so fortunate to have access to amazing cheesemakers in our state who are responsible stewards for the land, the animals and their products.

The sun is out 🌞, the veggies are rolling in from our fields and greenhouses (cherry tomatoes and rhubarb are new this week!) 🥬🍅🥒, and our crew is crushing it. 💪 They are washing and prepping like crazy - keeping our farmstand stocked, the CSA shares overflowing, and the wholesale orders packed and out the door. There's definitely a great vibe around the farm. 😊

The potatoes are planted! If you don't know about the process, it's kinda cool. We take 'seed potatoes' that are specifically meant for planting and cut them to a uniform weight, making sure that each portion has "eyes". Then we let the potatoes dry out a bit in a warm environment and they do what potatoes do best when left to their own devices - sprout! When planted, the sprouts will form leaves above ground to provide the necessary nutrients for potato growth and roots will develop from the stem of the sprout to produce more potatoes!

We're looking forward to enjoying the new potatoes (7.5 acres of 'em ;-)!

Yesterday we packed our CSA boxes with SO MUCH GREEN!! 💚Our CSA members are getting the spring herb trifecta - basil, cilantro, AND dill! Plus cucumbers, arugula, spring salad mix, romaine lettuce, green leaf lettuce, mustard greens, and pac choi. This week we also have RAMPS from a local forager.
I had to include this pic of pallet jacks in a row. This was taken at the end of the day yesterday after packing boxes for hours. Our crew always leaves the wash house perfectly put-together, ready to take on the next day's work. That's how it goes in this season - so much to do ... and we're ready! 💪
