It's been a long time of not posting anything 😅
I'm still here, still got my chickens and the girls are laying again after taking their winter sobatical 😎

Our chickens are free range so they feast on worms, bugs, grass and whatever else they find in our open yard. They always have access to local feed and shut in the coop at night for protection from predators then let back out early morning 🐓

I've got eggs to claim
$5 per doz.

Well, again the hens didn't lay as many as normal so I won't be at the Farmers Market today.

I have eggs just not enough to make the trip worth while.

With the hot weather we've been having the chickens haven't been laying very good this week so I will not be at the Aurora Farmers Market Saturday.

About 3 weeks ago we discovered that we have a brooding hen..so we had to name her "Karen" 😆
We decided to let her sit some eggs and they have started hatching today!!
We may have to change her name from Karen to just Momma. She's doing a good job...and what mother doesn't have a "Karen" side that comes out when it comes to her babies? 😉
