Update #2. We have a quarter beef available for an October 14th butcher date. We also have spots available for a December 9th butcher date.

Update: the beef for September is spoken for. We have 3/4 of a beef available for an October 14th butcher date.

We have a quarter beef available for a September 16th butcher date. $3.25 per lb live weight plus butchering costs. A quarter will average around $1250 including the butcher fees. If you haven't tried our beef, you are definitely missing out! Read our reviews on Facebook and Google. We have USDA inspected beef in stock if you would like to try some before a big order. Our calves are born and raised their entire lives on our farm. They are always out on grass pasture and get fed grain daily.

Sometimes I feel like this bear when we try to move baby calves across the road for the first time. It's like they say "Oh crap, my mom just disappeared through a time warp (open gate), so I must run to the total opposite side of the pasture as fast as I can and take as many of my friends with me!"

Weather is so frustrating for farmers. The last significant rain we had was in early July. We got .3" about 3 weeks ago and .15" today. No real chance of rain in the extended forecast. The grass we do have is burnt to a crisp. Hopefully we catch a pop up storm we have been missing.

This is another one of Cole's cows! He is calved out for the season already! A little heifer calf!

Our neighbors bull must have been getting busy for the 4 or 5 hours he was with our cows! This makes number three, and we've got a couple more really close to calving! We're just happy he was a good looking Bull with a good disposition!
