We are thankful for the little bit of rain that we received this past week (6 tenths), but we desperately need a lot more. We have been putting out hay since the end of June and ended up purchasing hay because we didn't cut enough to get us through till next spring. If we don't get some good rain, and soon, then we will be back out of the cattle business again. We sold off the last of the goats back in August. It was a very sad day as we had goats even when we didn't have cows.

Found this gorgeous hog nose in the driveway this evening! I caught it and moved it away from the house and the cats.
