At Stillwell Farm Schoolhouse, it’s not always sunshine and rainbows 🌈.
Some days the animals break things, someone slips through a fence, the gardens get overgrown and you feel defeated, you wonder if you got in over your head, if maybe you’re failing. Inevitably something gets sick, the mosquitoes are relentless and you wonder if you’re truly building the life you’ve been called to build.

These are the days we teach our kids it’s okay to cry, to pause, to feel the weight of real responsibility and real love. And then we look back at photos of what this land used to be barren and dry and remember how much life God has brought forth through our hands.

So we pray. We breathe. We keep tending what’s been entrusted to us. 🌿

And just when discouragement whispers, a good friend shows up reminding us that homesteading and raising children close to the land was never meant to be done alone.

This is our Stillwell Farm Schoolhouse real, imperfect, faithful, and full of quiet miracles.
