Riding into 2026 like...

We are back to our regularly scheduled Carroll Gardens Greenmarkets after a lovely break where we have enjoyed lots of snow, visits with the best of friends, Jack's birthday, skiing, sledding, ice skating, more snow and a little rest.

We all know the new year really starts tomorrow so stock up on all that nutrient dense winter produce from your local farmers to amplify those health kicks.

Good morning, dear Carroll Gardens! We have all your holiday veg needs plus our hot sauce, honeys and tote bags which all make excellent gifts whilst also keeping our hard earned cash in our local economy rather than transferring it to big corporations who aren't doing anything good with it. Shop local this holiday season!

Wishing you a holiday period filled with friends, family, peace, love and health. Nothing is more valuable than that. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for keeping it local and making this small farm a reality.

Thank you to our hard working team for an amazing season, and a special big up to those who joined on Thursday for the coldest carrot harvest on record, armed with smiles and song.

Carroll Gardens looking extra gorgeous with a layer of snow especially for the Greenmarket. No matter which direction your farmers came to you from today it was through lots of snow. Thanks for braving the cold and keeping it local folks! It is extra appreciated today!

(Some of) the folks behind the farm. Thank you to the whole crew who keep coming back for more, for being up for hard work, embracing the madness and helping us make the farm better every year.

These hands have harvested boat loads of all the veggies of your thanksgiving dreams so get ready to stock up tomorrow (especially because we will not be at the 11/30 greenmarket while we take a little break before the winter greenmarket season).

This week marks the last Bronxville Farmers Market of the season and the pre-Thanksgiving market - time to stock up on all the locally grown organic winter veg.

Thanks to all of our customers for making this the best season yet. We hope you have enjoyed market manager, Rebecca as much as we enjoy having her as part of the team!

And thanks to the whole HAF team for all the hard work all season long.

It was .farm 2018 when (I) Melissa heard speak that she decided to do it, to start a farm, because he convinced me it was possible to build a financially sustainable farm business. We threw caution to the wind and as so many young farmers have done, we used the 'Market Gardener' as our template. So coming together again at the Churchtown Dairy Conference, 7 years after starting Hidden Acre Farm, where he continues to be a champion of the small scale Organic farm movement is a full circle moment.

Getting to work now for is a role in which I get to work with, support, encourage, learn from, connect and respect farmers. The people who feed us. This weekend at the Churchtown conference I have met and heard from many of my heroes in the small scale Organic movement and I am as inspired as I was back in 2018 at Eco Farm.

We all stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.
