Apparently the donkeys had a meeting and decided they weren’t allowed to have babies until calving season was over. 😂

Karma gave us our last calf of the season—a handsome dun bull calf—and then the donkey baby floodgates opened. We’ve welcomed five new foals in just the last few days!

Needless to say, we’ve been a little distracted around here. Between all the new babies and the wildfire near town keeping everyone on edge, it’s been a hectic week. These little faces have been a bright spot through it all and a good reminder to focus on the blessings. ❤️
