Call for Artists + Creatives

The Crescent City Downtown Divas are seeking artists, performers, and creatives for our upcoming Friday Night Downtown:

🕔 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Downtown Crescent City

This special evening will highlight the eclectic and incredibly diverse artistic talent within our community.

Alongside our Friday Night Downtown lineup of local businesses, vendors, musicians, and food trucks, Downtown Crescent City will come alive in a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, connection, and community.

From visual arts and live performance to interactive experiences and emerging makers, we are looking to showcase a wide range of artistic expression throughout the evening.

We are looking for:
~Painting
~ Sculpture
~Photography
~Mixed Media
~Pottery
~Wearable Art
~Jewelry
~Native Art + Indigenous Cultural Arts
~Dance + Movement
~Live Art Demonstrations
~Interactive Art Experiences
~Innovative + Contemporary Works
~Theatre

Artist Participation: This is a community showcase event designed to celebrate and highlight the arts.

While direct sales will not be part of this particular featured arts activation, participating artists are welcome to host an informational table, share promotional materials, connect with attendees, and build visibility for their work, studios, performances, upcoming exhibitions, and creative projects.

This is a wonderful opportunity to:
~Share your creativity with the community
~Connect with new audiences
~Be part of a collaborative downtown arts experience
~Gain exposure through event promotion and social media

Live Art + Performance Opportunities

We are especially looking for artists interested in:

~Live painting or demonstrations
~Interactive installations
~ Dance or movement performances
~ Street performance
~Collaborative community art projects

Event Setup: begins at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 5th.

To Participate: please email the following information no later than May 15, 2026:

1. Your name and/or business name
2. What art form you will be showcasing
3. Whether you would like to participate in live art or performance opportunities
4. Several high-quality images of your work and/or previous setup
5. A brief artist bio and description of your work
6. Links to your website or professional social media pages

Have been looking forward to this all year!

Hey everyone! Just a fun and friendly reminder that the annual scholarship concert originally scheduled for May 24th has been changed to May 31st! Save the date and join us to celebrate our scholarship winners and witness their brilliance live! Oh, and Dr. Tutunov, professor of piano at SOU, will also perform! Always a Brookings favorite, his talent, wit and charm will delight! This FREE live concert will be at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave. in Brookings. Doors open at 2:30 pm. Bring your friends & family and we'll see you there!

The Forest Moon Festival is THIS WEEKEND! We are so excited for Friday's events! Here in Crescent City at Beachfront Park, the park opens at 5 pm! Please consider having dinner with our local food vendors on site!

5-10 pm: Enjoy a large variety of vendors with everything from Merchandise and Hot Coffee/chocolate to delicious food, popcorn, treats, BBQ and handcrafted items, including:

Fun weekend coming up in Crescent City CA - City Hall. High Note Winery has excellent entertainment, the Forest Moon Festival offers family fun, and great jams will rock the harbor at the One King Entertainment music festival- something for everyone in this town!
