We made plans to finish the new Emu yard and move Thing 2 with the rest of the Things 3-7 today. Oklahoma weather made other plans. ⛈️💨🧊Instead, we fixed the driveway where the rain washed it out, covered some sink holes (old tunnels the tortoises and dogs made last year), cut down some trees 🌲 🪾that took out other fences, and Farrier Francisco (Frank) came out to clean up the girls hooves🐴 🐴 ! Maybe we can get the emus moved tomorrow…… We’ll see!

Oh and we helped a turkey vulture dry off and get back to life. It was sitting in our driveway when we got home this morning. He could walk fine, but could not fly more than 4 or 5 feet. He was drenched! Like dripping wet! We got an incredible amount of rain last night, somehow he got water logged. We let him rest on the back of the truck in full sun. He flew off a little while later.
