My misadventures took me further south after hurricane Isiais to do a removal in the heart of the touchdown.

Dispite the dismay of the town nature has a way of telling us we all continue to thrive and rebuild, inspite of the rubble these bees were so well watched after they just continued on like nothing ever happened.
God decided "not today" for tgese ladies as they were sheltered by fallen fence pannels in 110+ winds and rain.

Thank you Danielle for the opportunity to regenerate these girls and give them a safe haven at Wetherington Place Hives

May everyone impacted by the hurricane bounce back just as the bees do 💛🐝💪

🍂🐝 AUTUMN SPECIAL: Pumpkin Honey Cornbread 🎃

A little pumpkin, warm spices, and sweet wetherington place honey make this the perfect cozy fall treat!

(( Ingredients))
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 cup pumpkin purée
2 eggs
½ cup buttermilk
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla

🍯 Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch skillet or baking pan.
Mix dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, pumpkin purée, buttermilk, honey, melted butter, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients just until mixed. Pour into the pan and bake 25–30 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Serve warm with butter and an extra drizzle of honey.
