And just for fun…. To add to the excitement, two solid white goats born just hours before I leave for vacation!! They are beautiful and this first time mama did great!! Both babies, and adorable spelling and a strapping buckling, went straight to nursing, minutes after birth. This is a great sign!!

We are in the midst of milk stand training our girls, since all of our milkers are first time mothers this year. All is going well, by and large. We have one who still kicks every so often. Then there is this sweet girl, who just arrived at our farm a few weeks ago. I feel like she may have gotten confused on the goal of this venture…. That’s ok. She’ll get the memo soon enough!
