Well, it looks like I will be spending some time planting potatoes in the grow house in our garage. Despite being in a cool and dark place, they sprouted like crazy over the last month and I just discovered them like this. Thank goodness for an option to still plant them this time of year!

Goat photo and video dump. Introduced the girls to their pasture and walked it all with them. They stuck right by me everywhere I went. Each time I tried to walk away, they got worried and tried to figure out how to get out with me. Bottle raised girls with a 10 year old that gave them non stop attention. These two are like Velcro. Gentle and sweet ladies.

Summer always makes me crave refreshing foods. I’ve been loving this midday smoothie for the last couple weeks. It’s packed full of fruits and veggies, healthy matcha and amla powders and turmeric! If you love healthy and tasty smoothies, this is worth trying.

1/2 green apple (peels on)
1 squeezed lime
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
4” of sliced cucumber
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach
2 tsp flax seeds
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp amla powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
