Who else is dealing with a bad case of flies this year?

We have these bag traps, fly strips, zappers, and all natural fly spray going over here. Hopefully we can tone them down some soon!

Here is our full hatch of chicks for 2026 Hatch #1!

All pullets will be kept for our layer flock and bantam boys will be available to new flocks once confirmed (minus the silkie). Most large fowl boys will be grown out for meat unless someone wants to obtain them from us for a reasonable amount.

I do not believe I will hatch any chicks to make available this year. Thank you for understanding. Check back Spring of 2027 if you are interested in that.

Thank you to Gitzy's Little Farm for the eggs to hatch and start us off! This is the variety possible plus more when you support them and get hatching eggs!

Our girls didn’t get to show today due to a vehicle issue completely messing up our schedule but I want to thank SKYVU Farms for being so welcoming and letting Addie help walk the goats as much as possible today. Can’t wait for the next show!

It’s hatch day! Here is what we have hatched so far!!! 13 babies in the brooder and still more to go!

Had to get them out because they were trampling and grabbing at the chicks still trying to hatch which resulted in an injury to one chick’s foot and toes.

Updates to the laws regarding raw milk sales here in Oklahoma!

Legally, dairy farmers can sell up to 1500 gallons a month from their farm location AND can now advertise the sale of raw milk! This has been updated from 200 gallons of raw cow milk and 100 gallons of raw goat milk that was previously allowed.

This is a BIG step for both farmers and consumers.

31 Chicken eggs and 10 duck eggs made it to day 17 of incubation!
