Booney Hat had a great time at the BBQ Comp in this past weekend. Inclusive BBQ Events puts on a great event and there was a lot of money raised for the VFW. We took 5th overall with 4th in Chicken, 2nd in Ribs and 11th in Pork and Brisket. This was our first 4 meat competition and only the 2nd time we had ever cooked brisket. Oh yeah, and because I’m “extra”, we also competed in the extra dessert contest and took 4th. It was a great way to kick off the season and great to reconnect with some of our friends 🔥

The last comp of 2021 was a success! 1st in and 8th overall 🔥 We are proud to say that we placed 1st in Ribs in our first comp and were RGC, we placed 2nd in wings in our 2nd comp and in our 3rd comp we placed 1st in chicken all on our 🔥 All three were and we had a great time trying out our recipes and are pretty proud of our Rookie year🔥 We are looking forward to 2022 and throwing our hat into the ring 🔥 Now onward to 🔥Wonder what we will put on the next?

We placed 1st in Chicken and 8th overall in the Post 225 Wrentham American Legion BBQ Tailgate competition last weekend. Not a bad way to end the season! Inclusive BBQ Events did an awesome job running the NEBS event and it was a lot of fun having so many teams participating 🔥 Can’t wait for 2022!
