Thank you to our Bulson Rd drivers who were patient this morning while we moved the cattle across the street! They're all grazing on the west side of the road for as long as that grass holds out. As always, if you see a cow in the road while on Bulson, calling us is a great place to start - although they're not always ours, we can help figure it out.

Nuts for Nuts! We've got Honeynut squash available in the farm store, as long as it's warm enough in there! These compact little guys are the perfect level of sweetness, a truly delightful dining experience. I'll have Butternut squash out tomorrow, too. We also have a plethora of baby ginger, both fresh and frozen. We had our best harvest EVER of ginger, so we will have it available in the freezer throughout the winter. Truly a banner year for both of these crops, which would, coincidentally, go great together in either a sweet or savory dish!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the American Farmland Trust | NY & NJ exhibit opening at the Bethlehem Public Library ! Bethlehem Environmental Commons (BeECO) is doing great work there, and ILFC&B is always inspiring. We always appreciate the chance to tell our story, and we hope that it adds to the understanding of farming and the importance of protecting farmland and fostering farmers.

October. Can you believe it? We're already past the Equinox. I love how many more colors there are in fall than in spring. In spring, I love all the subtle varieties of green, but in fall I love all the wild abandon of color. Find the rainbow in every forest or garden! What a great scavenger hunt. 🌈
