Wadsworth Blueberries Here at our fourth generation family farm, we are pleased to continue the farming tradition on our Heritage Century Family Farm.

Welcome to Wadsworth Blueberries. We are located 5 miles south of Pell City just off Hwy 231. Turn onto Easonville Road at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Our farm is 1/4 mile on the right. We will have a big sign at the highway and signs at the farm. Many of our visitors are also visiting the adjacent Lake Logan Martin recreational area. There is a beautiful view of the Appalachian Mountain foothills while picking berries in a peaceful rural setting. For the 2017 blueberry season, the prices are $12 per gallon for pick.your own berries. We are unable to provide picked berries this year because of berry losses from the last freeze this spring. There are signs at the field with picking instructions. We provide buckets, bags, ice water. picnic tables and rest room facilities.

We have just finished harvesting our first crop of berries for 2026. We hope to begin harvesting the second crop around July 4th. The berries are turning and beginning to look ready. Please check back here for updates. We will let you know quicly as they're read for picking.

We are nearing the end of our blueberry season for this year. There are still some berries scattered around the field. If you walk around in the field you can find berries to pick. Mike is pruning plants that have no more berries.
We have a later variety that is turning blue but isn’t sweet yet. They probably need another week to ten days before being ready to pick. These bushes are a smaller part of the orchard. We will post as soon as they are ready for picking.

There are a good many berries still in the field. Right now, the most are in the front close to the beginning of the driveway and on the side down toward the barn. There are still berries scattered in the field that you will have to search for. We are so glad to see the sun today as it will sweeten the berries. We look forward to seeing you.
